Non-Hazardous Landfill
Cevons Waste Management landfills are carefully operated and maintained to contain waste and keep toxins from leaching into the surrounding environment. We operate within strict parameters established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as state environmental management agencies.
Certificate of Disposal
Bids, contracts, and regulatory compliance may require a certificate of disposal. This certify that waste material has been responsibly and properly disposed of, in accordance with the Laws of Guyana. Let us know ahead of time, and we can ensure you receive your certificate promptly.
Special Waste Disposal
Cevons Waste Management understands the unique challenges a business faces when it comes to properly discarding specialized waste in a manner that’s both environmentally and economically responsible. For customers who generate specialized waste, requiring waste profiling, customized handling, heightened safety measures or unique disposal practices, Cevons Waste Management has the capability and experience to handle it.
Daily Cover
For the daily cover of landfill waste, We at Cevons Waste Management and our partners, invested in a tarp deployment system that allows us to cover and uncover our working face with easy-to-lay, EPA-approved tarps that control odor, vectors and litter, and at the same time saving landfill space that would normally be consumed by non-reusable soil.
Current Landfill Projects
Haag Bosch Sanitary Landfill Site
The Haag Bosch Sanitary Landfill site services the City of Georgetown and 15 NDCs. This Landfill Site is the largest in the country and the only sanitary landfill Site. Cevons Waste Management commenced the operation of the Haag Bosch Sanitary Landfill site from April 1st, 2018 to current.
Esplanade Landfill Site
The Esplanade landfill is located at Esplanade, New Amsterdam and accepts waste from businesses and residents within the New Amsterdam Municipality and surrounding communities, in the East Berbice- Corentyne Region. Cevons Waste Management commenced the operation of the Esplande Landfill Site from November 1st, 2019 to current.
